Acacia sculpture takes the shape of acacia pods in various states of development representing the four seasons by artist David Wood.

Materials:  Mild Steel, galvanized and industrial coatings.

Taking the shape of acacia pods, indigenous to the area, large slender pods in various states of development represent the four seasons.

Three elders draw on settlers’ relationship to country and generational search for belonging and connection to place. It represents new beginnings, endings and the returning to earth; open wounds and the flowing of sap.
